Mystery in a play format

Three Act Tragedy - Hugh Fraser, Agatha Christie

This is my first time reading this book but I've seen the recent Masterpiece Mystery version of this book so I knew who was the murderer. Regardless, it was interesting to see how Mrs. Christie created a story almost in the format of a play. The TV version is excellent but there was a lot of nuances that I was able to enjoy while reading. Like for instance, how lots of the characters in the mystery were all related to the theater, thus reinforcing the play aspect. We have an actor, an actress, a playwright, and even a custom designer.

Hugh Fraser does such a great job with all these narrations. His diction is perfect and his understanding of the characters is wonderful.

Totally recommend all his narrations of Agatha Christie's books.
