D.G. ~Shameless Reader~

Book blogger, audiobook lover and shamelessly honest reviewer. Mostly read fantasy, mystery, romance, UF and YA but all genres welcome.

Eternal Hunger (Mark of the Vampire #1) - Laura Wright, Tavia Gilbert What a convoluted story! I listened to a couple of hours and could barely follow what's going on. The author tried to introduce new elements to the whole vampire mythology but without explaining what things meant so I was confused by all the Italian terminology.

Worse, the author took coincidences to incredible heights: the bad guy who attacks the heroine ends up joining the villains, while an important girl to the villains' plans is the heroine's patient!!! Prior to the start of the book there's no connection among all these people so it's beyond me how can they all be embroiled together out of the blue.

And note to the author: you CANNOT see the Manhattan skyline from a second story house in Soho.
